opportunities of being elected come november 6th. in new mexico, former county commissioner, michelle grissom is the favorite candidate. should be the first hispanic woman to be elected from new mexico to represent the state. we also expect to new faces from texas. in cd 20, deceived by charlie gonzalez in an interdistrict district created by reapportionment, keep in mind that texas was the big winner and reapportionment, were picked up for new congressional seats. however, it appears only one will be held by a latino member of congress. there also are opportunities for latino candidates in competitive districts that are non-latino majority districts. three of these are also in california. former lieutenant governor is facing the incumbent over seven from the area, lois steps. this again is a district firm lewis taxes currently held and is a very competitive district and is one where the former lieutenant governor has a strong opportunity to defeat lois capps and the district is closely watched for november 6. in the san joaquin valley, the republican that democrats as a viable candidate in t

of the things my lab does, we built a really nice trailer in new mexico. here is my trailer. i live in a trailer in mexico. [laughter] this trailer has a really nice mri in it. we work with inmates to volunteer force studies and how to make them better. what we have found is that individuals to have those psychopathic traits, only about a third of all inmates will score really high on the straights. they have reduced gray matter density in these areas. this is the same area where that guy had the tumor. these individuals, control and for all the important things, they are all from pretty average environments. extremely different in terms of structure. does this go towards mitigation? how should it be used? how should this information be used to? i use it to dole out treatment. that is how i thought we would kick start this seminar. i am happy to answer any other questions. i did not do this all by myself. i had a lot of individuals who helped me with this data. this research is all funded by the national research of health, your tax dollars. thank you for your attention. i will turn over to our

mexico and he is constantly barraged by what's the best way to assess i.q., especially when you have these different tests and different measures, et cetera. i.q. is one of the most well studied things in psychology. so taking a brain scan and fitting your brain along a dimension and getting a value is just a slightly different way of doing it than giving you the tests and stuff like that. so i have not obviously testified to anything like that. i just tried to give that as an example. there is an enormous literature out there that is already peer-reviewed and published on i.q. there are dozens of papers. the big question is how well can i take a single person's brain scan and with what confidence can i get a number associated with it that we would derive an i.q. those measures and ways that we do that get better every month, basically, every year we're getting more and more accurate at taking a single piece of information or complex piece of information and fitting it. to my knowledge, it hasn't been done. i am aware there are patents on estimating i.q. using brain imaging which is

in chicago. former new mexico governor gary johnson. he's the presidential nominee for the libertarian party. jill stein, who once ran for governor of massachusetts against mitt romney is the nominee for the green party. virgil good, a former u.s. congressman of virginia is the presidential nominee and rocky anderson, former mayor of salt lake city utah is the nominee for the justice party. one of the big issues is ballot access. people can only vote for these candidates if their names are on the ballot and that varies from state to state for each of these parties. a new national survey shows they're what you're concerned about, too. the two top concerns men teens are jobs and the economy. many students are worried they'll have trouble finding a job after finishing school. 64% say education is up there. 32% mentioned health care. the survey showed the teens were almost evenly split about who they vote for. but 67% said the candidates were more interested in winning than what most americans thought. what would your concern be today? tell us on our blog. >> time for a shout out extra credit. w

that there was no discussion about latin america, mexico, no discussion of cuba or haiti. in mexico, the drug war is very intense. we have and border issues there. it was very telling that these campaigns did not get into those issues in any depth, or at all in some cases. i guess it just circles me back to they clearly believe -- certainly the republicans clearly believe that the economy is the overriding issue for voters. 1.5 million voters in this state are hispanic. many of these hispanic voters have a fairly recent ties to their homeland and other parts of the world. i think that not addressing that community more directly was perhaps a mistake that night. host: jeb bush, the former florida governor, and the head of the free cuba center in dc write in today's "wall street journal" -- "president kennedy showed fortitude and resolve in forcing the soviet union to stand down. whoever wins the election ought to deal similarly with today's intimidation and deception from the castro regime." boca raton, florida caller -- brian crowley, did you want to jump in on that? guest: one of the things missed by pe
